Dr. Marlene Camcho-Rivera and Dr. Marcus Lambert presented to NINDS on their latest publication: https://www.cell.com/cell/fulltext/S0092-8674(24)00230-7. The audience included both the NINDS Diversity Workforce Work Group and the Health Disparity Work Group, program officers, as well as directors like Walter J. Koroshetz, Director of NINDS, Michele Jone-London, Associate Director for Programs to Enhance the Neuroscience Workforce, and Richard Benson, Director of the Office of Global Health and Health Disparities (OGHHD).
Drs. Camacho-Rivera and Lambert led a 30 minute discussion on strategies which was very well received.
Dr. Lambert will have a similar audience with NIAMS on September 30th.
